My Delphiniums!

http://www.tootsietime.com/

Linking up with Bloomin Tuesday - lots of great gardeners sharing thier gardens - be sure and check them out. http://msgreenthumbjean.blogspot.com/
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One of our daughter had her baby last week and we were out of town. The baby is beautiful - our first granddaughter after 5 grandsons. It was lovely in St. George, Utah - but it is about 30* hotter there than here!
When I got back all my delphiniums were blooming! WOO HOO - The first year they have bloomed - I feel totally blessed. I got them all on a throw away table at a nursery and wasn't sure if they would make it or not. Aren't they lovely!
Being gone a week let the weeds have a hay day! I will be busy for a while getting on top of them again - plus another daughter is due this weekend.
Thanks for stopping be - have a great week.
Nothing like cheap plants! You sure can't tell the difference when they bloom. The colors are beautiful! Jean
Those delphiniums are gorgeous! Congratulations on your little granddaughter. We just found out today that our son and his wife are having a little girl! Yay! That makes 4 grandsons and 4 granddaughters for us! So happy you were able to visit with that brand new baby!
Gorgeous! I'm so jealous, they don't do well here. I've tried them several times, the heat is just to much I guess.
Those are gorgeous. So glad you saved them. Delphenium just doesn't seem to do that well for me here. Too hot I think, but boy they are gorgeous!
Hey staying home lets the weeds have a hayday. ;-) Love your Delphiniums, they look great. I have them for the first time this year too - well, the first time for any length of time and one that actually came back from last year. So after 20 years I finally have them. Congrats on a baby girl. We still have all boys!
