It was 50* out today - most of the snow melted from last weeks 3 blizzards and it is glorious!
Here are some pictures of some of the Hollyhocks:

This is a little closer (our 3rd daughter checking another flower- she is graduating from college in Horitculture in August.) Look just a little closer and you can see a bee inside. From a distance:
This is how it looked this morning when I had the area about 1/2 cleaned out:
Thanks to Jean at for hosting Blooming Tuesday. I love this day to look at everyone's gardens and how they are growing. Check out this link to see other participants http://msgreenthumbjean.blogspot.com/

I love the bee in the flower, great photo
Oh my goodness, those hollyhocks are gorgeous. Nice to hear that things are warming up in Idaho! It was 50 degrees in Colorado today too -- heavenly! I did some garden cleaning up too!
The hollyhocks are lovely. I recently got some free hollyhock seed from a recent garden tour host, but have to wait until next year to plant. I wish the hollyhocks were the color of yours, but the seeds available was for a light pink.

those Hollyhocks are gorgeous, maybe mine will bloom next year! Well now you have your garden area getting ready to have a go of it all over again!!
Hollyhocks are one of my favorite flowers. Great photos.
I love hollyhocks, I can't seem to grow them here. I desperately need to do some yard work before the weeds take everything. Hugs,
Rosemarie
Beautifully colored hollyhocks. Don't you love getting outside and working in the garden? Things are looking good. Can't wait to see your gardens in full bloom! Jean
Can't believe I missed this post.
I want hollyhocks in my front bed this year, tall and easy:)
How cool your daughter shares your love.
The bed is coming along nicely, and I know its great to have cool (not cold) weather to garden in:)
