Blooming Tuesday - Spring Blossoms

Welcome to Blooming Tuesday!
This is a pictue of our back corner yard. The amazing pink tree in the back corner is in full bloom - it is amazing! It is a Hawthorn Tree. Next to it are the lilacs. Everywhere you walk in our neighborhood you can smell lilacs. It is amazing. You can see a few iris in the corner of the picture.

Here are a few of my Iris'. The purple ones are in the side of the picture above. They are in the cutting garden and the yellow ones are tucked in the Woodland in a dark spot - they really brighten it up!

As always, thanks to Jean at for hosting Blooming Tuesday. I love this day to look at everyone's gardens and how they are growing. Check out this link to see other participants http://msgreenthumbjean.blogspot.com/

I love the Hawthorn tree and the lilacs. I planted two lilacs a couple years ago and was blessed with their beautiful flowers and smell for the first time this year. They were about 6-8 inches tall when I planted them so they are still on the small side. Thanks for sharing your blooms and I hope you have a wonderful afternoon.

Blessings,
Elizabeth

Love your iris and, you're right, that tree is beautiful! We had an unusually short lilac cycle this year, so I'm glad that they are in full bloom and doing beautifully there!

The Hawthorne is one of my favorite blooming trees, mostly because of the fall color. I've never seen pink flowers on a hawthorne, it's absolutely breathtaking! Love the iris, you never can go wrong with their elegance. Thanks for sharing your pics today!
