My daisy's and hollyhocks are amazing - it is so fun to see how each week of summer the garden changes with perennials. Their entire purpose is to "Brighten the eye and gladden the heart." They do that everyday.

I have Daisy's in clusters all over the yard.

Here are some with some Bell Flowers

Close ups of the Holly hocks - hard to tell but there are light and dark pink in this pix.
Thanks for stopping by!
Hope you have a great week.
Still waiting for the arrival of our newest grandchild.

This week I am thankful for the vibrant days of summer.

My daisies are totally gone, but the hollyhocks are looking good. Good idea to mix them all up. I'm moving the daisies from the front yard next year. Maybe I'll put them in with the other stuff.

Your hollyhocks look great and so do your daisies! Our daisies are done. It has been a hot summer and the garden is no longer at its peak. Thanks for sharing yours - very pretty!

your daisies and hollyhocks are wonderful. I had the red holly hocks last year but they didn't return with reseeding and the ones I bought were somewhat disappointing.

I'm a beginner but great fan of gardening. Welcome to my blog.

Your hollyhocks are spectacular! They are one of my favorites; my grandmother always had them growing, but I can't seem to get the hang of it. Every year I plant, I never give up, and some day I will succeed!
