I love springtime magic - everything suddenly comes to life - it is magic! It is wonderful! So grateful for such beauty and wonderment!
Here are a few of the things happening this week:
This tree just exploded with blossoms! I have no idea what kind of tree it is - we got it in a throw away pile a couple of years ago without a tag - would love your ideas on what it is.
This is about to open up!

Just got my bench started - still need to add a few things - too excited about this! Thanks Tootsie for the idea.

Hosta's starting to come through the ground - we have 5 darling little grandson's under 3, so I put tomato cages around them till they get big enough to see so their leaves don't get scrunched.
PROJECTS
1- Our veggie garden is getting plowed and we are making grow boxes - more on that next week
2 - Cleaning out our play yard area and redoing a few things - more on that in the coming weeks
3 - Herb Bed - Some plants that are invasive have taken over so I sprayed them and will be redoing it all in the coming weeks - it will wrap around the corner (Left side) of the house and go the full length of the house - the cullinary will be on the back side - more about this later - I am pretty excited about doing this.
4 - I will decide on #4 when these 3 are finished!

I forgot about hostas! They will be perfect for under the oak tree in my yard and if I want to take them when I move I can. Your yards the best with all its nooks and crannies and beautiful things to see. I cant wait to see what the rest of the summer brings!

Spring is a spectacular time of year. All is new and fresh, lush and green.
Sorry Paula I don't know what your flowering tree is. Can't wait to see what you've been doing. Your bench will be just as pretty as Tootsie's is. I need to run someone down and get me an ole bench to fix up with flowers. Have fun with #4.

First, is it possible this is a pear tree? If it's a Keifer, it will need another one to pollinate and bear fruit. Just a guess.
And the iris on my blog, Gnu Flash, is from Brecks. I think there are five in the Batik collection. All are very pretty.

We have some similar trees lining the streets of downtown here. They are Bradford Pears. They don't produce fruit, more of an ornamental. Not sure if that is what yours is, but it looks like it to me.

I don't know what plant that is with the pretty dark pink buds are but I like it. The Temple grounds are beautiful!
Well, I love the white flowering tree. It might be a non-bearing fruit apple tree. It's gorgeous, and your garden looks so happy!
