Woo Hoo - Still Purple at Our House!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It has been raining for a couple of weeks and it is beautiful!
It looks like we are in Oregon.
This is what I can see today when I looked out my back window.
This week everything is still a lovely purple and white.
These are the Iris blooming right out my window (they are in the lower left corner in the picture above) - aren't they lovely!
Here are four of the Iris' that are currently blooming - I just love purple!
The top left Iris is a Grape Iris - it smells like grape - isn't that amazing! Here are the lilac bushes in full bloom in our yard. All are different colors and a heavenly smell.
Here is a picture of our pond area - next week I will share pictures of it - things are really starting to pop out there.
Looking at the buds about to bloom - next week should be a pink week!
Thanks for stopping by and letting me share with you!
What a gorgeous view you have from your window! I'm very impressed with how green and healthy your lawn is too. Mine perked up after some rain this weekend. But the heat has been a beast for it lately. :(
What a lovely lawn too. Purple and white compliment each other well.
Your yard looks so lush and beautiful! Love the lilac and iris. I cut my lilac way back this spring and didn't get any blooms -- so sad!
Just gorgeous! I love lilacs - my grandma had them in her yard and they always remind me of summers when I was a young girl.
Thanks for sharing!
Lovely. A garden can't have too much purple, nor white.
WOW am I glad I came by. Your yard is GORGEOUS....you have what we call wonderful "barefoot" grass. Our grass is horrible and we are always battling weeds and stickers...YUCK.
Hi Paula,
I clicked some of the photos to see them larger. You have a beautiful place! I've just been to some blog gardens that are a little ahead of mine, and now see that yours is a little behind. My irises are all finished, and that always makes me a little sad, but then the daylilies bloom and cheer me up. Plus, I get to look at yours and others in your time of the season.
Thanks for your comment on my Bloomin' Tuesday post.
I still have a few iris, but the lilacs are all done here- they came and went so fast, it seems! Thanks for linking to the Tuesday Garden Party!
I'm always amazed at the time difference across this great country. My irises and lilacs were done about 3-4 weeks ago. As I look at other blogs I see that all of their daisies are blooming and mine are still tight little buds. Like I said, just amazing. Beautiful blossoms.
I am impressed with your lawn! I guess I'm still old fashioned enough to still believe a good lawn really sets off a good garden and adds considerable beauty! Larry
